Electronic Health Records

“We are passionate about providing clinicians, carers, administrators and managers with simple tools to provide and evidence excellent health and social care”.

Are you:

  • moving, changing, or improving your existing electronic health and social care record?
  • aiming to improve and evidence the improved care you provide to patients, clients and residents?
  • seeking to decrease the burden on your staff by making the recording and viewing information quick and easy, as well as improve efficiency of your organisation?
  • aspiring to have up-to-date and historical information about your patients, clients and residents available to view and share to other health and social care providers (i.e. GPs, Community Nurses, Care Homes, Hospices, etc.)?

If ‘yes’ to any of these questions, we can provide help, support or advice.

Design, development, improvement and implementation of nationally-used, electronic health and social care records - with the aim of keeping things simple, focused on the job in hand, cost effective and above all dedicated to evidencing and improving patient and client care - is our speciality.

We are holistic in our approach, we listen, we build the system to meet your requirements, we design the system around evidenced outcomes and, at the same time, concentrate on meeting national gold standards of documenting care.

“Clinicians and carers roles can be complex and demanding but it doesn’t mean that the recording and viewing of that care needs to be complex – in the past, we’ve spent too much time creating complex electronic systems and adding unnecessary and burdensome tick boxes that are never or seldom used”

How we can help:

  • Advising and helping you make the important strategic decisions around requirements, options, feasibility and cost
  • Assisting you with planning and project managing your implementation or system improvements, including change management
  • Designing, developing, testing and seeking professional approval for your electronic system
  • Providing tried and tested blueprint electronic system designs (for Care Homes and Hospices) to speed up development time and reduce development costs
  • We support you with sharing information seamlessly with other health and social care providers
  • We provide systems training, documentation, go-live and ongoing support
  • We are specialists in TPP’s SystmOne, and have a lot of experience of a variety of other electronic clinical systems

Recent projects:

We are currently working with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight End of Life Care (EoLC) Interoperability project, commissioned by Solent NHS Trust, documenting requirements for sharing information between different health and social care systems in the region, with the aim of providing joined-up urgent and emergency EoLC.

We have over 40 years’ combined experience working in palliative care and EoLC and we aim to assist the project team in finding and implementing an EoLC Interoperability Solution.

We have worked together with over 12 different hospices across the UK designing, developing, implementing, re-developing and supporting their electronic health care systems.

We also have extensive experience with hospice reporting at a national, local, service and individual patient level, having worked on some of the recent national reporting projects and having implemented and reported on Outcome Assessment and Complexity Collaborative (OACC) Outcome Measures in a number of different hospices.

Care Homes

We are leading on a project, commissioned by the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), to implement SystmOne into care homes, in order to provide the best possible care for residents, by sharing information between healthcare professionals and professional carers. We have recently gone live with our first Care Home, in Ryde, and will shortly be going-live with a second home.

We have a blueprint, care homes SystmOne module that can be implemented quickly and in a cost-effective manner.

We are keen to advise, evaluate and share the benefit of our experience for any aspect of your project.

“We love what we do and want to support you, caring for us all”
